Breaking, Privately Funded Border Wall Ordered to Keep Gate Open…Indefinitely

The privately funded border wall, run by Brian Kolfage of ‘We Build the Wall’ has been ordered to keep it’s gate open indefinitely, because the organizers failed to get the required permits.

Authorities also claim the wall blocks access to national monuments and public lands, as The Hill reports:

The International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC), which oversees waterway issues between the U.S. and Mexico, said the organizers of We Build the Wall, which raised more than $23 million, had not obtained permission to build on federal land.

The half-mile barrier, on the border near Sunland Park, N.M., restricts access to a public monument and waterways, according to the IBWC.

“This is normally done well in advance of a construction project,” IBWC spokesperson Lori Kuczmanski told BuzzFeed News. “They think they can build now and ask questions later, and that’s not how it works.”

While not a huge fan of the ‘We Build the Wall’ organization this seems arbitrary and silly.

Brian Kolfage, President of ‘We Build the Wall’ responded on Twitter:

The privately funded border wall has been controversial since the beginning and this is but another chapter.

The powers the be want to stop a border wall, be it President Trump’s, or a privately funded one, and will seemingly do whatever it takes to block it.

It sure does seem like the left wants our country over run with illegal immigrants, if for no other reason than to thwart President Trump and the will of the American people.
